As Finance Clerk you will be tasked with various accounting activities and duties that also aids in delivering services within the assigned budget. Your New Role
As part of my client’s commitment to service excellence, you will undertake a diverse range of financial and administrative tasks. Here’s a breakdown of our responsibilities:
* Accurate Financial Information: Collaborating closely with the Service Management Team, you will provide them with precise financial data. This information aids in formulating budgets that align with the service area's requirements.
* Financial Management Support: Conducting monthly financial performance reviews and promptly addressing any ad hoc financial enquiries.
* Policy Compliance and Data Security: Adhere rigorously to policies and procedures, simultaneously safeguarding confidential data and ensuring its accuracy and secure handling.
* Business Rules and Purchasing Monitoring: Working alongside management to monitor purchasing activities and to ensure all staff are compliant with organisational rules.
* Collaboration and Training: Liaise with other departments within the directorate, fostering collaboration. This ensures a unified approach to financial e-purchasing and management. Identify areas for staff development and deliver targeted training.
* Partnerships and Research: Actively manage communication with internal and external partners. Engage in research and analysis, providing insights that inform performance enhancements and overall business development.
* Health, Safety, and Team Compliance: Each team member takes personal responsibility for health and safety.
What You Will Need
To be successful in your application, you will need:
* Good general education and a further Accounting Qualification eg AAT (desirable)
* Experience of accounting software/systems
* Financial analysis and reporting experience
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Interpersonal skills
