Collaborating with customers to identify their business needs, challenges, and objectives, acting as a trusted advisor in delivering customised solutions. Participating in trade shows to establish new connections and explore potential opportunities. Conducting site visits to perform maintenance surveys and accurately interpret client requirements. Building a pipeline of new business to meet annual targets. Maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing clients and accounts. Updating client information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Effectively communicating value propositions through proposals and presentations. Contributing to the ongoing development of winning propositions. Proactively collaborating with other sales channels to maximise cross-selling opportunities. Taking ownership of contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for the organization. Experience requirements: Candidates should possess: A proven track record as a successful Business Development Manager, delivering client-focused, differentiated, and achievable service solutions. Strong communication skills with the ability to present and influence at all organisational levels, including executive and C-level stakeholders in multi-site businesses. Proficiency in preparing area plans and conducting effective sales calls and meetings. Experience in both new business development and account management. Demonstrated sales success with a robust history of managing opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle, including qualification and win planning that leads to high conversion rates. A comprehensive understanding of contractual agreements. The capability to position solutions effectively against competitors, emphasizing differentiators and value-added benefits for clients. Prior experience or knowledge of the security industry is preferred but not essential. A valid UK driving license.
