Berwick Ward is a 14 bed medium secure unit for the treatment of working age men with complex mental health problems, who have been in contact with the Criminal Justice system. We have developed a strong and cohesive MDT who work collaboratively with the patient group to achieve positive outcomes within the care and treatment pathway. Main duties of the job Act as a Primary/Named Nurse within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, and needs based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provide excellent professional, skilled and effective person centred, evidence based nursing care. Be actively involved in the health and wellbeing of staff and service users. Be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services.
