About the role:
As a Void Multi Skilled Operative working closely with Medway City Council across our portfolio of properties working on a planned route. Part of a local team undertaking high standard Multi Trade repairs and refurbishment activities to housing properties delivering best in class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards. You will have a certified core trade and complimenting this can deliver additional trade activities in support of completing repair/refurbishment works on time and to a high standard in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures. Take ownership in undertaking construction, fault finding and maintenance repairs aiming for a first-time completion whilst remaining within budget and time.
Day to day Duties:
1. Carrying out reactive repairs in unoccupied properties
2. Responsible for duties to include but not limited to – hanging doors, skirting, architraves, fixing windows / doors, lock changes, repairing worktops, kitchen units, fitting new bathrooms general plumbing repairs, painting and decorating, Plastering etc
3. Providing high levels of customer care at all times
Role Criteria:
4. NVQ or extensive on the job experience in Carpentry.
5. job experience in general building and maintenance works
6. UK Full Driving licence
7. Provide own hand and power tools

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
