Role: Specialist Nurse
Therapy Area: Respiratory

Hours: Full time - part time considered, 4 days per week minimum. Standard working day would be 8.30-5.30, but this would be dependent on the travel to the practice location

This is an exciting role working in the field of Respiratory disease supporting healthcare professionals/patients to make informed decisions about treatment pathways for patients. With multiple territories available throughout he UK, you'll be working in partnership with the NHS to deliver a unique nursing programme, focussing closely on driving best practice, delivering excellent care and improving patient outcomes
This role will suit a patient focused NMC registered nurse who can demonstrate experience of working in Respiratory care. Previous nurse advisory experience is desirable, together with strong interpersonal skills, and keen desire to deliver fantastic results with a consistent patient focus.
As a specialist nurse advisor with an intimate understanding of national treatment guidelines, you will work together with patients and practices to assist healthcare professionals to deliver the most up to date care for their patients.
This role involves responsibility for a defined geographical area and so demands excellent planning & organisational skills along with confident driving.
Our Client is leading service provider driving healthcare strategies to deliver measurable outcomes in Diabetes, Respiratory and Cardiovascular disease areas.
Qualifications:
Full driving licence
Current NMC registration
Desirable
Currently hold either or both COPD/Asthma diplomas
ARTP qualification
The Person/Experience
A minimum of 3 years experience managing respiratory conditions within primary care
Currently undertaking COPD and/or asthma reviews on a regular basis in primary care
Experience in spirometry as well as knowledgeable and confident in the provision of education, support and advice to people with Respiratory disease
