You will work with our UK team in our innovation exchange in the heart of the city of London. At the AIE, you'll be part of a small team of makers, breakers, doers and disruptors, who love to solve real problems and meet real customer needs.
You will work alongside clients, account execs, UX designers, full stack developers and product owners to ideate, experiment, and build rapid proof of concepts, MVPs and innovations for a range of clients leveraging the latest emerging technology.
Your primary role will be to work with the business in leading the shaping and selling our innovation products and services, going on to independently lead engagements which deliver value for our clients and the business.
You will have a passion for innovation and emerging technology and embrace working with new ideas and methods. You will be comfortable working in an ambitious, start-up style culture where you will play a part in our future strategy and growth and contribute to the development of the team through a number of internal projects.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role
Sell Innovation:
* Ignite innovation conversations with clients through bringing to life the AIE vision, methodology, and case studies.
* Scope innovation opportunities with account executives and clients.
* Drive innovation within a specific sector, creating growth across the market.
* Create proposals for innovation opportunities using structured thinking and storytelling to bring innovation opportunities to life for clients.
* Shape and deliver client ‘Discover’ workshops with clients around their business problems and emerging technology topics, using different facilitation and ideation techniques.
* Craft and lead business cases to go alongside innovation value proposition – showcasing your commercial mindset.
* Bring a passion to stay on top of business model, customer, and technology trends, participate in internal and external innovation communities, and mentor other members of the innovation consulting community.
* Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organisation, and diversity.
* Act as the product owner / innovation lead when working with our engineers, UX designers, and product owners to build, test, and implement innovation proof of concepts for clients, documenting outcomes and credentials for future use.
* Experiment with new collaboration methodologies and tools, using Design Sprints and AI enabled Design Thinking to accelerate innovative outcomes.
* Work with clients to prove the commercial business case for an innovation opportunity, proving the business value, risks, and constraints for a given innovation.

Your skills and experience
* Experience of workshop facilitation (as a lead facilitator).
* Experience with direct line management.
* Experience of methodologies including but not limited to Design Thinking, Open Innovation, Future Foresights, Lean Start-up.
* Experience of business case creation.
* Experience of client success management.
* Experience of primary and secondary research techniques.
* Experience of project management.
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required. There are other criteria and checks required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
