IT SaaS Vendor Management Lead:
An interesting opportunity has arisen for a newly created role. As the SaaS Vendor Management Lead you will be responsible for delivering business outcomes though the key strategic vendor relationships, ensuring these relationships deliver on value and customer outcomes in line with the objectives.
Main Responsibilities as IT SaaS Vendor Management Lead:
* To oversee SaaS vendor performance, developing and managing supplier relationships to protect interests and ensure costs reflect fair market value
* Develop and maintain SaaS assurance models for vendors within the allocated portfolio, supporting areas such as Information Security, Compliance and Data Governance
* Ensure negotiation of commercial terms for strategic IT contracts provides beneficial outcomes for the business and the customer
* Identify and report of risks associated with existing or potential SaaS vendors
* Build effective strategic relationships with SaaS vendors ensuring sustainable business value is achieved.
Skills and experience you need as SaaS Vendor Management Lead:
* Demonstrable experience managing SaaS vendors.
* Experience in setting up and maintaining SaaS assurance models, including the understanding of Identity Access Management, Data Loss Prevention and Infrastructure Security
* Understanding of the relevance and application of Compliance and Governance standards, including PRA S2/21 and ISO27001:2022
* Proven experience dealing with IT contracts with complex provisions and clauses, with a good understanding of how to discuss and negotiate contract financial terms either as a lead or as part of a negotiation team
* Proven ability to negotiate and deal with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation. Ability to test and challenge business assumptions.
