Recognising that people are at the heart of accelerating progress, we are currently seeking a Logistics Team Member to join our team in Warrington.
As a Logistics Team Member, you will be responsible for a fast-paced process that requires a high level of accuracy in your work as you monitor and assist in the goods in/out process for the business.
Duties will include Picking, Packing and Matching up of orders in a timely fashion with complete accuracy. Upon displaying the correct work ethic and commitment - the role will allow the successful candidate to move through a pathway for further development and career progression.
What you’ll be doing

* Take delivery of goods and supplies
* Check for damaged or missing items
* Store goods appropriately
* Pick and pack orders for dispatch
* Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
* Input data regarding stock and inventory into the SAP ERP system (Training Provided)
* Keep accurate stock records
* Carry out weekly stock counts locally and across the network as and when required
* Keep paperwork up to date
* Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
* Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
* Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
* Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
* Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value
Other duties include assisting with general office administration including the updating of inventory systems, maintain necessary document control systems, attend and participate in Team + Safety Briefs.
What you’ll bring
* Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills along with good planning and organisation Skills.
* Good Telephone Manner.
* Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Flexible approach and ability to prioritise tasks.
* Developed skills using Microsoft Office Packages (Word and excel)
* Familiarisation of SAP, Plant and Circuits, Business Objects. (Not critical)
* Valid Clean driving license (Class 2 preferable but not required)
Advantageous Criteria
* Forklift Driving License/Experience
* Previous Logistics/Warehouse/Stores environment exposure
