Street Sweeping Operative, 2 Posts - PKC12347

Blairgowrie Depot
Based in Blairgowrie, you will operate primarily as a lone worker; however, you may be required to work as part of a team as the situation requires.
You will perform litter collection duties throughout the area; you may also be required to carry out additional tasks such as second operative in a van to empty litter bins, collect fly tipping, and lift waste from domestic properties.
You may also be required to carry out other duties as and when required.
This working pattern for this post is Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.
Skills & Experience Required
You must be able to carry out the physical demands of the post.
You must be able to complete paperwork associated with the post e.g., timesheets, work schedules, maintenance records, etc.
A working knowledge and experience of computers/smartphones would also be beneficial.
A Category B driving licence is desirable.
To be successful in this role, you will be physically fit and be prepared to walk carrying/moving heavy loads over rough ground in all weathers.
You will have a strong constitution with regards to adverse odours and may be required to work overtime.
