Job Description
Morgan Ryder is expanding its sales team and is looking to recruit a Veteran Business Development Executives for our Defence Division.
This part of our business provides recruitment services to World-Class Manufacturing & Engineering businesses globally, specifically customers that manufacture products, components, and systems such as; Aircraft, Marine Vessels, Tanks & Land Vehicles, Firearms & Weapon Systems, Communication, Optics and Surveillance Equipment, Protective & Tactical Equipment.
Location:
* Knowsley, Liverpool purpose-built offices near Junction 6, M62. Plus hybrid working after a short probation period - living location must be commutable to Liverpool.
Salary:
* Up to £35,000 + Bonus (Realistic year-1 OTE of £40,000>£45,000 - increasing in line with progression), Pension, Wellness Support, Cycle-to-Work Scheme, Generous Holiday Allowance, Christmas Parties Abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
* Use our leading cloud-based CRM system to maintain regular contact with key customers, establishing a thorough understanding of their business, markets and activities.
* Identify and target potential defence manufacturing clients through market research, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and key influencers within defence manufacturing organisations.
* Collaborate with your internal teams to develop customised proposals, presentations, and demonstrations tailored to prospective clients.
* Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring that agreements meet both client objectives and company goals.
* Build and maintain a pipeline of business activity that generates the required revenue levels.
* Deliver multi-channel communications through telephone, email, video calling, and face-to-face meetings.
Requirements:
* Ideally an armed forces veteran with some sales experience, or an experienced sales professional with and an affinity for defence equipment and technologies.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
* Strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities and a talent for developing innovative solutions to meet client needs.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is essential.

The talent that you will help your customers attract and recruit will span qualified professionals up to C-Level board members, across most departments and functions such as Operations, Programmes, Commercial, Human Resources, Finance, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, Health & Safety.
