We are working with an Office leasing business who are seeking a Sales Administrator to be that first point of contact for all of their lovely customers in their business centre near Northfleet, Gravesend.
The organisation provides the renting of accessible office space/meeting rooms etc for a wide range of local businesses as well as some storage for the general public.
In this role as Sales Administrator, you will be working as a team of 3 (Assistant Manager and Store Manager who are professional and down to earth). You will be:
1. Upselling office space and storage units to prospective customers
2. Greeting your customers as they arrive to work in their leased offices
3. Taking phone calls from prospective customers and talking through office sizes and options
4. Undertaking some administration using Word/Excel (basic), keeping insurances up to date, updating maintenance logs, and keeping compliance checks on track
5. Receiving post and deliveries and distributing them to your customers
6. Emailing customers (businesses) regarding office rental payments
7. Answering customer queries
8. Supporting on organising fun office themed events
9. Ensuring all the office facilities e.g. kitchens/meeting rooms are fully stocked with drinks and biscuits, the dishwasher is loaded, and some light cleaning (they do have a cleaner too!)
10. Supporting the Manager where required (You are a team of 3)
To be successful in this role of Sales Administrator, you will need:
1. Some sales experience (this is not a hard sales role but you will need to keep customers happy and attract new customers e.g. sell office space/storage space via incoming enquiries)
2. Administration experience
3. Good face-to-face customer service skills
4. Good telephone manner
5. Good organisational skills
6. Happy to roll up your sleeves and get things done
7. A pleasant and positive personality with a smart appearance
8. Ability to work in a small professional team with a sense of humour
9. A responsible, self-motivated, mature attitude with a reliable approach to work
10. Happy to undertake some lone working (one Saturday in every 3 Saturdays, 10am-3pm)

2. Salary: £24k plus generous monthly and quarterly bonuses (totalling on average around an extra £5k per year)

Hours: 40 hours total per week (between 8.30am to 5.30pm, one Saturday in every 3 weeks (10-3pm - always with two days off in the week)
