This Maintenance Engineer role is for an engineering business that specialises in machinery and supports a range of industries.
Maintenance Engineer Role and Responsibilities
This role will require the Maintenance Engineer to build, test, service, repair, and install machinery.
Working on an electrical panel and making a wiring cabinet.
This role is based on the shop floor alongside other engineers with some client interaction.
You may from time to time be required to attend site visits to support other Engineers in installing, repairing, and servicing machines.
Assisting in projects.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements
The Maintenance Engineer will ideally have 17th or 18th Edition or an electrical qualification and be happy to be upskilled to obtain 18th
Experience working within FMCG, food distribution, or a high-volume environment.
Experience in PLC and automation is desirable but not essential.
Must have a mechanical understanding.
What we offer/benefits
£35,000 - £42,000 annual salary.
Monday to Friday working pattern, 37.5 hours a week.
Standard hours 9:00am – 5:30am.
Flexible start time from 7:00 am to 9:30 am.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Workplace pension scheme, which includes a 5% contribution from the employer.
Closed of Christmas and New Year.
Christmas bonus depending on business performance.
