We are recruiting an Innovation and Transformation Engineer at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 37 hours
Contract Type: Fixed Term for 12 months
Location: Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements
This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Customer Services Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £37,938 - £40,476 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Under the general direction of the Enterprise Architect, the post holder would be responsible for the provision and development of technologies identified as key enablers by the business.
As an Innovation and Transformation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience within the authority. Collaborating closely with our Early Years team, you will optimise systems to deliver efficient, user-focused services.
Your ability to create and analyse SQL reports will be crucial in driving service improvements. Additionally, you will support various projects within the wider Innovation and Transformation team, contributing to the overall advancement of our initiatives. This role demands a proactive approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
For the role, we ask that you have:
* A relevant Level 5 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW)
* Understanding of service delivery within a complex IT environment
* A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business/work purposes to travel throughout the borough and beyond to attend meetings and visit sites
