Our client is a software technology company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in the global logistics market, currently working as an autonomous UK development organisation for a $100m US-based worldwide distributor and manufacturer of consumable automotive parts.
Position Overview:
We require a creative thinker coupled with strong skills across the Full Microsoft stack including but not limited to:
1. NET
2. C#
3. WinForms
4. HTML
5. Restful APIs
6. SQL Server
7. GIT-based Version Control
8. Visual Studio
Type of person:
Confident independent worker who is comfortable working remotely as a self-starter with limited supervision. We are looking for someone with a flexible attitude and a desire to learn new, related skills and experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recommend and design solutions that meet requirements.
2. Create solution designs and a road map that explain the problem, the architecture, how the system works, key considerations for security and data privacy and how it will be delivered aligning to architecture and delivery standards.
3. Apply modern software development practices.
4. Create efficient and robust designs for software components and effectively communicate and document these to the team and client.
5. Support and maintain existing software as well as getting involved with greenfield projects.
6. Unit and integration testing of components under development.
Further experience:
1. Extensive experience of working with server, desktop, and networks.
2. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
3. Familiarity with security and data protection best practices.
4. Able to provide input to, and technical solutions to business requirements.
5. Able to create and maintain documentation relating to:
1. Code development
2. Modifications
3. Troubleshooting and problem resolution steps.
6. Worked within project delivery frameworks, able to demonstrate time management and labour estimating.
7. Effective communication and client relationship skills.
8. A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a small team.
