Education:
Master's degree or equivalent experience
Tasks
1. Assign projects and programs to the purchasing and warehouse departments across the organization
2. Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling and distributing materials, equipment, machinery and supplies
3. Evaluate daily operations
4. Plan and control budget and expenditures
5. Plan and organize daily operations
6. Review purchase order claims and contracts to determine compliance with company policy
7. Hire, train, direct and motivate staff
8. Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services
9. Authorize the development of specifications for products or services
10. Manage contracts
11. Oversee the analysis of data and information
12. Oversee the preparation of reports
13. Process purchases
14. Bag, box or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery
