About the role
The post holder will provide proactive, effective, and efficient administration support to the Director and Operations Manager of NIHR CL-PSRC. They will be a full member of our diverse research team which includes career scientists and NHS clinicians.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external organisations, some of which will include NHS trusts, grant awarding bodies, and academic collaborators.
Appointment details:
1. The post is graded at grade 6, the annual salary for which ranges from pro-rata of £35,930 to £41,255 (including London Allowance).
2. This post is available to start on 1 May 2025 with an end date of 30 April 2028 in the first instance.
3. It is a part-time opportunity, during term-time only, with usual working hours of Monday - Thursday 10am to 3pm.

About you
The successful candidate will:
* Be educated to A-level standard with significant experience in providing administration to senior colleagues.
* Be educated to a Degree level with significant experience in providing administration to senior colleagues (desirable).
* Have experience of working in the higher education sector and/or the NHS or equivalent experience (desirable).
* Have experience of writing minutes and drafting correspondence and reports.
* Be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Have excellent organisational skills and a proven ability to assess priorities and plan workload.
* Have excellent command of English and good written communication skills including strong spelling, grammar, and editing.
