Digital Hardware Engineer
Responsibilities include:
1. Digital hardware design experience.
2. Hardware development for control systems.
3. PCB design, especially impedance controlled tracks and EMC aspects for high-speed digital circuitry.
4. Knowledge of computer BIOS settings and configuration.
5. Hardware/software integration and knowledge of COMs (Computer On Module).
6. Knowledge of firmware and programmable devices.
7. Use of electronics lab equipment (scopes, DVMs, power supplies, signal analysers, hand tools, soldering equipment, etc).
8. Development of EMC and environmental test plans, manufacturing test specifications.
9. HW and SW integration, V&V, requirements capture.
10. Component level design experience, stress and tolerance analysis, Altium schematic capture & PCB design.
11. Obsolescence management, change management/configuration control.
12. Preparation of test procedures and reports, engineering reports, design description documents.
