The Role As our HR Manager, you will play a key role in leading and developing the HR function, ensuring a high-performing and engaged team. This hands-on role blends strategy with action – you will oversee talent acquisition, performance management, employee development and compliance, whilst fostering a positive work culture. You will build strong relationships, guide managers, and be a trusted expert in all things HR. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, being a trusted advisor to Leadership on all HR matters contributing to organisational planning and change management. Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead end-to-end recruitment, ensuring a seamless candidate experience while attracting, retaining and engaging top talent. Employee Relations & Engagement: Promote a positive, inclusive and high-performance culture, managing employee relations, conflict resolution and performance, whilst driving employee engagement initiatives. Performance & Development: Oversee performance management processes, implementing training and career development programmes to drive employee growth. Compliance & Policies: Ensure HR and Health & Safety policies are compliant with Employment Law and industry standard, maintaining accurate records for GDPR requirements. Compensation & Benefits: Manage salary benchmarking and benefit schemes to ensure fairness, transparency and competitiveness, whilst working with Finance on payroll processes. HR & Facilities Operations: Streamline HR processes for efficiency/effectiveness (including onboarding/offboarding and performance management). Implement and manage HR systems to support decision-making and oversee facilities management of the group property portfolio. Security, Quality & Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with Security policies, report risks and incidents, and uphold Health & Safety/Quality standards. Experience and Personal Attributes Proven experience in a Senior or Lead HR role, ideally in the Software or Technology sector. Strong HR generalist who can deal with a variety of complex issues and possesses good HR content expertise across a number of areas including ER, Engagement, Talent and HR Ops Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Comprehensive understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice. Solutions-focused mindset with a strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficient in HR software and data analytics. Adaptable, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
