We are looking for an experienced Head of Governance to join our Senior Leadership Team. Working closely with the Council, internal and external stakeholders, you will oversee the management of Council and Committee meetings and Corporate Governance functions within the HCPC, including organisational adherence to the HCPC Code of Corporate Governance. In addition, you will have responsibility for the HCPC's management and assurance of Partners, including recruitment, training, performance and efficient administration, For you to succeed, you will be an ambitious leader with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Corporate Governance best practice and substantial experience of managing senior level meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes and papers. The successful candidate should have a proven ability to lead and take accountability for a specialised function, managing their own workload and the workload of others, weigh up conflicting demands and make decisions independently.
