Overview: The 1 st Line Support Technician will provide proactive and effective 1st line support of all current IT systems and users within Wentworth Club. Key Areas of Activity: Provide first line support to all staff for internal IT systems (including PC network, telephone system, paging system, printers, software applications and internet connectivity). Provide first line support to members and clients for online logins or the use of Wi-Fi within the business Raise purchase orders and liaise with IT suppliers to purchase additional IT hardware and software. Perform regular system audits on network directory and system accounts. Provide ad-hoc IT support for events Update menus and prices within POS systems Ensure that all systems and procedures are documented to a high standard and meet audit requirements Provide and configure IT equipment to new employees Entry Requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
