The Opportunity
We’re offering a great opportunity for an Apprenticeship Administrator to join our friendly Apprenticeship Admin Team on a maternity cover contract.
As our Apprenticeship Administrator, you’ll provide essential administrative support, including record-keeping, data management, and ensuring compliance with college processes. You’ll be based in the MIS & Systems Department, working in a fast-paced office environment and delivering a range of services to ensure responsive, high-quality service. Your responsibilities will include supporting student enrolment, conducting compliance checks, managing examination registrations, maintaining student data, and ensuring all documentation is accurate.
You’ll use various IT systems to manage and maintain accurate records, assist with financial administration, and contribute to quality monitoring, all of which support the success of apprenticeship programmes.
You’ll also support the preparation and submission of ILR (Individual Learner Record) data, ensuring deadlines are met. You’ll accurately input and maintain student and enrolment details in the student records system, tracking outcomes and achievements.
Collaboration with curriculum teams will be essential to ensure a clear understanding of college processes, while ensuring accurate learner attendance and eligibility records. You’ll also assist with data quality checks, helping maintain the integrity of learner records.
Additionally, you’ll help manage examination registrations and results, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Overall, you’ll provide general administrative support to ensure a smooth and responsive service to apprentices, staff, and stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. If you have strong administrative skills, a passion for accuracy, and a commitment to supporting apprenticeship programme success, this could be the perfect opportunity.
About you

If you thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment and enjoy managing multiple tasks while ensuring accuracy, this could be the role for you. You will also be adaptable and able to work independently as well as part of a team. While experience in administrative processes, particularly in student records and enrolment, is a bonus, it’s not essential. What’s most important is your ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across departments.
Strong communication skills are also essential to liaise with our curriculum teams, apprentices, and other stakeholders. You’ll need to be detail-focused, dedicated to maintaining data integrity, and proactive in solving any issues that arise. You’ll be key in ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, supporting the smooth delivery of apprenticeship programmes.
