Job Title: Senior Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant Key Responsibilities:
* Management Accounts
Support the preparation and analysis of management accounts.Assist in the production of month-end reports.
* Support to Finance Manager
Provide assistance to the Finance Manager with various duties as required.Support in analytical work and the creation of Excel reports.
* System Integrations
Aid in the integration of financial systems and ensure seamless operation.
* Transactional Duties
Assist with purchase ledger tasks, including processing invoices and payments.Manage and process employee expenses and payroll.
* Credit Control
Manage and oversee the credit control process to ensure timely payments.Maintain accurate records of all credit transactions.
* Sage 50
Utilise Sage 50 for accounting tasks and ensure accurate data entry. Required Skills and Experience:
* Proficient in Sage 50 accounting software.
* Ability to support the preparation of management accounts and month-end reporting.
* Strong understanding of credit control and purchase ledger processes.
* Experience in handling payroll and expenses.
* Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficient in Excel and capable of creating detailed reports.
* Experience with financial system integrations is desirable.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
Qualifications:
* Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) are preferred but not essential.
* Previous experience in a similar role is required.
