Metal Finishing Technician - Deburr (Aerospace Industry)
Are you an experienced Metal Finishing Technician with a background in precision engineering? We are looking for a skilled Deburr Technician to join our Machine Shop team, working on high-quality aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities
Drilling and deburring aerospace components using manual techniques and specialised tooling, including Electrical Windy Guns.
* Working to exacting aerospace standards, ensuring all components meet engineering drawings and specifications.
* Operating pneumatic handheld deburring tools, pillar drills, drilling fixtures, and Windy Guns efficiently.
* Using Verniers, micrometers, plug gauges, and screw plug gauges to ensure accuracy.
* Maintaining a clean and structured workspace following 5S Principles.
* Collecting and recording SPC data as required.Shift Pattern
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am / 7:30 am - 3:45 pm / 4:15 pm
Friday: 7:00 am / 7:30 am - 11:00 am / 11:30 am
Pay Rates (PAYE Only)
First 12 Weeks:
* Basic: £16.19p/h (£18.54 including holiday pay)
* Overtime: £24.28p/h (£27.81 including holiday pay)
* Sundays: £32.37p/h (£37.08 including holiday pay)
After 12 Weeks:
* Basic: £16.68p/h (£19.10 including holiday pay)
* Overtime: £25.01p/h (£28.65 including holiday pay)
* Sundays: £33.35p/h (£38.20 including holiday pay)
