The role of IT Desktop Analyst will provide technical support to all University stakeholders, including students and staff for all IT and digital media. The postholder will be responsible for providing technical support and determining the most appropriate solution to issues as they arise, ensuring all issues are resolved timeously and in line with service level agreements. As the role is customer facing, the post is campus based with limited opportunity for online working.
* Be customer focused with both IT and Audio Visual technical skills.
* Experience working as part of a team in a technical role.
* Proficient skills relating to Windows, M365, Intune and Mac OS.
* Experience using phone, email, instant messaging to support customers.
* Experience in use of incident management systems and ticket resolution.
* A high level of information security awareness and understanding.
