Position : Legal Secretary – Private Client/Conveyancing
Location : Livingston
Pertemps are recruiting a Legal Secretary to join our client, a local law firm. The idea candidate will have experience working in with a legal firm and ideally exposure to Private Client or Conveyancing work.
Key Responsibilities :
* Provide comprehensive administrative support
* Draft, format and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
* Maintain an organized filing system for case files and legal documents.
* Manage schedules, appointments and meetings.
* Communicate with clients, court officials, and other parties on behalf of the legal team.
* Handle incoming calls and correspondence efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with legal procedures and confidentiality standards
Qualifications :
* Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
* Knowledge of Private Client or Conveyancing practice
