My client is currently looking for a trainee PCB tester and assembly machine operative to join their team in their busy manufacturing and production area at their Dartford factory.
The Assembly & Machine Operative role will involve:
* Testing printed circuit boards and metal fabrication of panel boards
* Checking and testing manufactured products
* Fault finding
* Setting machinery and assembly
You will be required to:
* Meet specific departmental and company targets
* Follow systems and procedures within the department, adhering to all health and safety regulations, housekeeping, work instructions, and quality checking
* Perform assembly work and machine operating roles as well as PCB testing
Skills & Experience required:
* Computer literate with basic mathematics
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy; previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
* Experience using similar machinery is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
* Able to understand mechanical drawings and artwork is preferred but not essential
Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, 2 PM - 10 PM (training will be provided on day shift from 8 AM - 4:30 PM for the first 2 weeks)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate of £11.89 per hour
