Position Overview
The Danaher Compliance Investigations Case Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s disclosure program (“Speak Up! Program”) with the utmost confidentiality and organization. This role requires a highly organized individual with the ability to effectively manage a high volume of cases. The position demands a high level of integrity and the capability to handle sensitive and highly confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
1. Case Intake and Management: Manage the intake and progression of each Speak Up report by ensuring reports are appropriately categorized, assigned to the appropriate investigator, and escalated as required per the Danaher Legal Escalation Policy. Triage reports not requiring investigation, track countermeasures, and identify reporting trends.
2. Generate Speak Up! Metrics & Management Reporting: Develop data analyses to identify case trends and compliance risks. Prepare reports for management and the Audit Committee, including case data and KPI performance.
3. Case Closure and Countermeasures Tracking: Assist investigators in closing cases, managing related documents, inputting countermeasures, and tracking their completion.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with global colleagues and stakeholders to ensure proper information sharing.
5. Develop and Maintain Program Standards: Draft and update investigation protocols, procedures, and templates.
6. Develop and Maintain Training & Communication Materials: Draft and update awareness materials and training curricula.
7. Translation Services Liaison: Coordinate with vendors for translations involving non-English speakers, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely, accurate translations.
8. Legal Hold Requests: Collaborate with IT to place legal holds on relevant devices, developing processes and tools as needed.
9. Forensic Activities Management: Work with external vendors for forensic activities, managing requests and findings.
10. Hotline Vendor Management: Serve as the primary contact for hotline operations, system changes, and account management.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
* Deep knowledge and experience in compliance investigations and case management.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with discretion handling confidential information.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency with case management systems (e.g., Navex) and working effectively with external vendors.
Preferred experience includes using LMS platforms like Workday for training automation.
