The post holder will be part of the new Migration Team and will be project managing the Homes for Ukraine Scheme funded by the Home Office. The post holder will be responsible for:
* The management, coordination, development, and implementation of the Homes for Ukraine (H4U) scheme across Nottingham City as outlined by UK Central government in their national pledge to support Ukrainian guests
* The management of officers in the H4U team
* Ensuring that the financial, legal, statutory and other relevant provisions or aspects of the scheme are strictly observed
* The integration and safeguarding of Guests including the management and appropriate referrals of complex cases
* The H4U teams appropriate re-matching of Guests and Sponsors and support of Guests into the private rented sector
* Budget management for the scheme including quarterly Delta returns to Government, payments to Sponsors on time, allocation of funds for other services, and a small grants programme delivery.
* Collaboration with partners including other LA's and boroughs, the Strategic Migration Partnership, Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations, internal services and stator services.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Evidence of having simultaneously managed a series of programmes and projects, with conflicting timescales, ensuring delivery of key milestones, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations
* Evidence of managing staff within corporate HR procedures to deliver clear goals
* Ability to evidence successfully developing and maintaining partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver beneficial outcomes for communities through collaboration and partnership working
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
