About the Future Opportunities When positions become available, successful candidates will join our Quality Management teams, working within the Safety, Security and Assurance directorate. Youll play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality across various scopes including: • Civil construction quality assurance • Mechanical systems and welding quality control • Electrical installation quality management • Nuclear-specific quality requirements Potential Role Scope Depending on your discipline and the specific opportunity, responsibilities may include: • Developing and implementing quality management systems and procedures • Managing quality assurance activities across assigned projects/contracts • Leading and conducting quality audits and inspections • Overseeing contractor and supplier quality compliance • Interfacing with regulatory bodies (particularly ONR) • Supporting ISO certification maintenance (9001, 14001, 45001, 19443) • Managing non-conformance processes and corrective actions • Developing quality execution plans during various project phases Required Experience & Qualifications Essential: • Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Proven experience in quality management within regulated environments • Strong understanding of ISO standards (9001 minimum) • Experience leading quality teams and managing stakeholders • Background in either civil, mechanical, or electrical disciplines • Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects Discipline-Specific Requirements (depending on role): • Mechanical: CSWIP/PCN 3.1 qualification (for welding/piping roles) • Civil: Experience with construction quality systems • Electrical: Knowledge of electrical installation standards Desirable: • Nuclear industry experience • Lead Auditor qualifications • Chartered Quality Professional status • Experience with LTQRS • PWR design and operational experience Personal Attributes • Strong leadership and communication skills • Analytical mindset with attention to detail • Problem-solving capabilities • Commitment to maintaining highest quality standards • Ability to work effectively in regulated environments Potential Package Elements When positions become available, they typically offer: • Competitive daily rates (£500-£625 depending on experience) • Annual salaries (£50,000-£85,000 for permanent roles) • Travel and accommodation allowances where applicable • Various payment options (PAYE/Umbrella - subject to position) • Long-term contract opportunities Locations • Sizewell C, Suffolk • Hinkley Point C, Somerset Important Note This is not an application for a current vacancy.
