Gas Centre Manager College location: Based at our Eastbourne Campus Annual salary: Circa £40,000 (Flexibility for an exceptional candidate, subject to qualifications, skills and experience) Hours: Full Time, 37 hours/week (Flexible working options considered) Closing date: 30th November 2024 Interview Date: TBC This exciting role will include: This post is to manage and co-ordinate the gas centre for our delivery of Gas Engineering Apprentices, phase 4 plumbing apprentices for their natural gas pathway and to support our ACS assessments and reassessments. The post holder will co-ordinate staff to ensure high-quality training and assessment. The post holder will also be involved in teaching, assessment and provide IQA support. This role may require collaborative working with other tutors, vocational trainers/assessors and employers to facilitate the successful completion of the mandatory units within the Plumbing & Heating Technician diploma. In addition to the above, the post holder will also be involved in the development of our bespoke delivery with SGN for the L3 Gas Network Crafts Person Apprenticeship, emergency response pathway. If you can demonstrate the following then we’d love to hear from you: Up-to-date gas qualifications for the majority of assessment tasks undertaken in the Gas Centre L3 Plumbing and/or Gas Qualification.
