Position Details: Salary: £420 - £500 per week (depending on experience and qualifications) Hours: 08:30 AM - 03:30 PM (Monday to Friday) Location: Newport, South Wales Start Date: February 2025 As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with students, supporting them both individually and in small groups, to help them thrive in the classroom. You will collaborate with teachers, therapists, and SEN Coordinators (SENCOs) to ensure each student's specific educational and emotional needs are met. What We're Looking For: A Psychology Degree (essential) Experience working with students with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, or other Special Educational Needs is preferred. A strong understanding of how to support children with Special Educational Needs and a compassionate, patient approach. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
