Who We Are The Corporate and Workplace Solutions Division (CWS) is comprised of Corporate and Workplace Solutions and the Office of Global Security. Our team focuses on commercial management, client support, advisory solutions, strategic planning, risk management, people security, real estate strategy and the enablement of collaboration and productivity tools across the firm. How We’re Organized Workplace Experience - Encompasses the comprehensive onsite workplace experience, how people interact with the workplace, on and off-site events and our overall location strategy. Departments include Events, Real Estate Strategy, Real Estate Development and On-Site Solutions, which is comprised of Document Management, Facilities, Ground Transportation and Hospitality. Spend Management - Encompasses the functions responsible for managing all aspects of the firm's spend with third parties advising commercial agreements, managing third party and payment risk and driving operating efficiency. Departments include Product Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Third Party Governance, Procure to Pay, Integrated Travel and Expense and Infrastructure and Transformation. CWS Engineering - Aligns several engineering functions focused on collaboration and productivity tools. Departments include Digital Workplace, Client and Production Engineering, Corporate Engineering, Spend, Data and Automation and Product Success and Delivery Engineering. Office of Global Security (OGS) - Protects the people and assets of Goldman Sachs to ensure a safe and secure environment. Assesses risk to enable the delivery of effective security, fire and life safety protocols and leads crisis management preparation, implementation and recovery processes. Includes Physical Security & Investigations, Executive Protection, Fire Safety and Crisis Management. Divisional Management (COO) - Aligns division-wide functions to drive strategic cohesiveness, consistency and efficiency. Departments include Business Unit Management, Communications and User Engagement, Risk and Environmental, Social & Governance. OUR IMPACT HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL Supporting the ESG team in a variety of different capacities, including: ESG in GS Operations and Supply Chain: Reviewing ESG risk profile of new and incumbent vendors and determining if further due diligence is required; collating reports on ESG vendor due dilligence Ensuring adherence to modern slavery obligations in our supply chain, incl. reviewing modern slavery alerts, preparing annual modern slavery statement, ensuring relevant teams have completed mandatory training, etc. Working with internal stakeholders to ensure that the firm meets its ISO14001 and other sustainability certification obligations Providing support across a number of strategic initiatives, incl. the firm’s commitment to achieve Net Zero Carbon by 2030 in its operations and supply chain Driving community engagement projects in strategic locations Vendor Diversity: Managing process for reviewing diverse vendor applications and undertaking initial evaluation of opportunity set for upcoming sourcing projects Working with internal Infrastructure and Finance teams to capture required information about diversity status of vendors for spend reporting Working with Engineering team to keep internal databases updated with accurate information Leveraging certifying agency memberships to identify and screen potential vendors for consideration Reporting and Communication: Keeping track of awards, rankings, disclosures and RFP responses requiring ESG inputs and analysing trends to assist with strategy development Tracking and collating key ESG data points across teams for public reporting Analysing data for internal and external communications and presentations Other Miscellaneous: Responding to internal and external requests for ESG information Onboarding new ESG vendors and managing associated payment processes SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR Passion for sustainability and diversity; preference is someone who has either studied this, and/ or has experience working for organisations (incl. not for profits) on ESG-related matters Strong Microsoft office skills, in particular Excel and PowerPoint; must be proficient in handling large volumes of information in spreadsheets and creating presentations Numerate; needs to be able to analyse numbers and draw sensible conclusions Attention to detail; takes initiative to learn about vendor diversity and sustainability to broaden their knowledge and apply to day job; self-starter with ability to drive and deliver projects ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS At Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
