Position: Care Home Manager
Location: Near Canvey Island, Essex
Salary: £43,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Are you a passionate and experienced Care Home Manager looking for a new opportunity? My client is a well-established care organisation with a commitment to delivering high-quality care. They are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Care Home Manager to lead their dedicated team in providing exceptional care for their residents.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care that meets the highest standards.
2. Manage a team of staff, providing leadership, support, and guidance to ensure a motivated and effective team.
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CQC guidelines, and maintain excellent standards of care.
4. Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents, particularly those living with dementia.
5. Maintain high levels of communication with residents, families, and external professionals.
6. Work closely with the senior leadership team to drive continuous improvements and ensure financial and operational efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
1. NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
2. Registered Manager status with a proven track record in leading a care home.
3. Strong knowledge of dementia care and the challenges associated with supporting residents with dementia.
4. Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and the process of achieving and maintaining a good CQC rating.
5. Experience in turnaround management within a care setting (desirable but not essential).
6. Outstanding leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
