Current Opening:
We are currently seeking a part-time (~12-24 hours) Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant for our facility in Manchester, ME which is just outside of Augusta.

Position Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant will be responsible for the provision of medical services to patients under the guidance of the Medical Director.
Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
* Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF Standards, and Everest Recovery policy and procedure
* Support day to day Nursing staff in dispensary, provide knowledge transfer as appropriate
* Provide patient and staff education
* Prescribe medication and ensure appropriate dose (as allowed by Law)
* Admit patients and ensure safe induction to a therapeutic blocking dose.
* Medical exams, monitoring, referrals, and reviews
* Ensure complete and accurate documentation in patient record
* Attendance at administrative team meetings
* Advocate for patient needs
* Adherence to patient confidentiality as required by Federal and State Law and Regulations.
Requirements
* Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant in ME
* Minimum of one year experience with psychiatric/mental health/substance use treatment services.
* Understanding of addiction treatment
* Ability to work without direct supervision.
* Good Communication skills
* Ability to be adaptable/flexible in a busy environment
* Good decision-making skills
