Job Description
As a Health Surveillance & HSE Coordinator, you will play a vital role in developing and managing our Occupational Health surveillance programme across Valeo Foods UK. This is an exciting opportunity to create and implement a new, efficient way of working, ensuring our employees meet the required health standards and that proactive measures are in place to promote well-being. You will work closely with our Occupational Health provider, HR, and site teams to build a structured, organised system that supports both compliance and employee welfare.
You will be responsible for overseeing health screening appointments, maintaining accurate records, and producing reports that support business decisions. Collaboration will be key as you liaise with different teams to ensure our factories have the right health monitoring processes in place. Beyond health surveillance, you will also provide essential administrative support to the Head of HSE and site HSE Managers, assisting in delivering broader health and safety objectives.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar role managing a health surveillance system is essential.
* IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or willingness to obtain).
* Knowledge of UK Health and Safety Legislation.
* Ability to manage people, systems, and processes effectively.
This role requires someone who is organised, proactive, and eager to make a difference. You should have experience in health surveillance administration, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment, and be comfortable working with data, reports, and scheduling systems. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll be coordinating with internal teams and external health providers.
We are also looking for someone who can take initiative, identify areas for improvement, and help shape a new, streamlined approach to Occupational Health across our UK sites. If you have a keen eye for detail, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for employee well-being, this could be the perfect role for you.
