Job summary Sustainability Officer - Band 5 37.5 hours per week The post holder will support the Sustainability Manager to lead both Trust's (Tameside ad Glossop Foundation Trust and Stockport Foundation Trust) to deliver the ambitions and objectives set out in the Green Plan's. They will provide specialist advice and guidance in the field of sustainability and will ensure both Trust's meet or exceed their obligations regarding environmental sustainability. This will include driving the required reductions in carbon emissions to meet the Net Zero targets, whilst ensuring compliance with NHS policies and procedures and relevant legislation. Main duties of the job The postholder will lead the development and delivery of a range of sustainability initiatives in relation to staff engagement and behaviour change, sustainable models of care, climate change adaptation, greenspaces, biodiversity, and sustainable travel. They will be responsible for the collation and management of sustainability data.
