Are you a highly organised and proactive project professional with a passion for delivering impactful network projects? Join our Network Development PMO team as a Project Delivery Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in rolling out the UK’s Best Network.
About the Role
As a Project Delivery Specialist, you will support and drive successful project delivery across our Mobile, Fixed, and Strategic Network Portfolios. You’ll manage a range of projects—either supporting large-scale initiatives or leading smaller projects end-to-end. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management and governance adherence to ensure our network expansion meets time, cost, and quality expectations.
You’ll work closely with internal Networks teams, wider business units, and key suppliers to ensure seamless project execution and handover to operations.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Control
* Develop project and resource plans, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
* Drive project delivery, proactively managing risks and preventing deviations.
* Ensure smooth handover of deliverables, including skills and knowledge transfer.
* Clearly define roles, responsibilities, and reporting relationships for all stakeholders.
Risk & Issue Management
* Maintain a Risk and Issue Register, identifying and mitigating risks early.
* Implement risk response strategies and issue resolution measures.
* Provide accurate and timely reporting to key stakeholders, escalating where necessary.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
* Experience working in cross-functional teams with a strong team-oriented mindset.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills—concise, accurate, and tailored to the audience.
* Strong planning and tracking skills, managing dependencies and maintaining visibility of project progress.
* Understanding of project lifecycle, management, and delivery (financial management experience is a plus).
* Knowledge of project governance frameworks and control mechanisms to ensure high-quality customer outcomes.
* Ability to lead completion reviews and track project benefits.
Desirable Certifications & Experience
* PRINCE2 / APM / PMI certification
* ITIL Foundation
* MoR (Management of Risk)
