Job Overview
A highly skilled Security Engineer with expertise in Vulnerability Management and team leadership is sought to spearhead our vulnerability management efforts. The ideal candidate will excel at automating security processes using Python, PowerShell, or SQL.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor a team of security engineers in identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities across our IT environment.
* Develop and implement automated solutions using Python, PowerShell, or SQL to streamline vulnerability detection and remediation workflows.
* Manage and improve vulnerability scanning tools, ensuring continuous monitoring and timely reporting on vulnerabilities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize vulnerabilities and ensure rapid patching and resolution.
* Create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into the vulnerability landscape and risk posture.
* Stay current on the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends, implementing proactive measures to keep our systems secure.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in security engineering with a focus on vulnerability management.
* Strong knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS) and patch management processes.
* Proficient in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, and SQL to streamline security operations.
* Proven experience leading or managing a security team.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex security issues and implement effective solutions.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across teams.
