Komoo Pontypridd is seeking a skilled Finance Officer to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial transactions, supporting the implementation of change, and overseeing a team of two Accounts Assistants. Your Responsibilities As a Finance Officer, you will have a varied and challenging role, including: Purchase Ledger (Leader/Manager) Accurately recording supplier invoices and liaising with remote sites for submissions. Requesting supplier statements, performing reconciliations, and adhering to cut-off dates for month-end accounts. Managing weekly reconciliations and timely payments to suppliers for smooth operations. Sales Ledger/Credit Control Generating accurate daily sales invoices and ensuring proper authorizations. Liaising with sites to resolve invoice discrepancies. Chasing outstanding payments while maintaining strong customer relationships. Other Financial Tasks Maintaining the fixed asset register. Performing bank account and credit card reconciliations. Managing monthly fuel transactions, eBay/Amazon purchases, and utility bills across multiple sites. Handling various additional financial and administrative responsibilities. About You To succeed in this role, you will need: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate within a small, close-knit team. Team management experience to guide and support your Accounts Assistants. A solid understanding of Excel, Word, SAGE 50, or NetSuite. An AAT qualification or equivalent knowledge/experience in bookkeeping (preferred but not required).
