Job Description
Our Retail Marketing team supports the entire Retail business. We help engage 6,500 colleagues in our 1,300 shops to ensure our customers have a great experience every time they visit.
We are responsible for the marketing activity across all of our shops in the UK. Passionate about all things Sports and Vegas, we work in a fast-paced environment, so adaptability and excellence in all areas of our remit are at the core of what we do. We collaborate closely with various departments including UK Marketing, Retail Support Centre, Retail Operations, Brand & Creative, and Product & Technology.
We are driven to deliver the best customer experience on the High St and contribute to the commercial performance of the Retail business.
What You Will Be Doing:
* Our William Hill shops are open 7 days a week, so this role involves covering weekends 50% of the time over a 5-day working pattern.
* Delivering marketing content and betting journeys on our retail sports & vegas terminals for every hour we trade our shops, supporting the commercial strategy.
* Building a marketing content plan for menu screens, top screens, and other touchpoints with a clear view on the Sporting & Vegas promo calendar.
* Creating offers and promotional pages for our betting shop and racecourse customers.
* Peer checking work and promotional content created by other team members. Managing the ROTA for the team, including weekend cover from 9-5pm.
* Providing support and creating key relationships with multiple stakeholders across Trading, Marketing, CRM, Commercial, and Product & Technology teams.
* Gaining an understanding of Online activities for when commercial activity can be aligned.
* Driving improvements and effective process strategies that enhance operational excellence, including our product and customer experience while supporting and developing the Retail Operations Exec.

* Meticulous attention to detail with good planning skills and excellent collaboration across multiple business functions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to take ownership of the role and develop it in line with the wider retail marketing objectives.
* Interest in sports or gaming will be an advantage.
