St Margaret’s Hospice Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser to join our team. This role will be based in either Yeovil or Taunton. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £29,400 per annum. Part time hours may be considered for the right candidate. Here in Community Partnerships, our role is to engage with the community of Somerset and beyond to deliver exciting and impactful fundraising in support of St Margaret’s Hospice. As an integral member of the team, you will work across several campaigns, projects, and teams to unlock the full potential of corporate suppor t, whether that’s sponsorship and delivery of events, working with retail to place donation bins, or contributing to the success of a hospice wide initiative such as Wear it Yellow. Responsible for securing long term and mutually beneficial partnerships throughout the community, you will primarily work with local employers and businesses, across a range of disciplines, including Charity of the Year, cause-related marketing, and sponsorship. Focusing on new business as well as account management of several existing partnerships, you will achieve net income targets by delivering a high standard of customer care, while maximising financial and non-financial support for the hospice. This includes working with our Volunteer Services Team to capitalise on employee volunteering. What will you be good at? Whether your background is in corporate fundraising or the commercial sector, you will be comfortable with seeing the sales cycle through from start to finish: from identifying prospects to securing meetings, creating innovative proposals, presenting, pitching and negotiating and securing a commitment.
