Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE is essential.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for one.
* Proven experience teaching music in a secondary school setting.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities and backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver engaging music lessons that cater to a diverse student population.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
* Assess and monitor student's progress, providing constructive feedback to support their musical growth.
* Organise and lead extracurricular music activities, such as school concerts, choirs, and ensembles.
* Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music education across the curriculum and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of curriculum developments and educational best practices in music teaching.
