What you’ll be doing
Vision and Strategy:
* Set and communicate the vision for the squad.
* Develop and maintain the squad roadmap.
* Align squad objectives with the broader goals of the tribe and organization.
* Build and prioritize the squad backlog to achieve business goals.
* Make trade-offs and quick decisions to manage day-to-day priorities.
* Ensure clarity and understanding of requirements within the squad.
Stakeholder Coordination:
* Collaborate with other squads and tribes to plan and implement cross-squad tasks.
* Manage stakeholder priorities and align needs with available resources.
* Actively build relationships and break down silos within the organization.
Quality and Output:
* Maintain a high-quality bar for squad output.
* Ensure the squad meets the Definition-of-Done for all tasks.
* Act as a role model, fostering an atmosphere of confidence and trust.
* Lead a multi-disciplinary squad in which squad members with different specialisms coming from different teams.
The experience you will have under your belt:
* Proven knowledge and experience in relevant product or journey.
* Deep understanding of industry trends and customer needs.
* Ability to create value propositions based on customer feedback, market research, and competitive analysis.
* Skilled communicator and persuasive leader.
