Job summary An opportunity has risen for the role of Consultant Psychiatrist in Rural Parks Community Mental Health. Main duties of the job A typical working week is likely to include out-patient clinics, team meeting, liaison with other professionals including UCAT, clinical administration, Mental Health Act work in community and supervision of the junior doctor. The post holder will also maintain close contact with his counterpart inpatient consultants at Berrywood Hospital to provide input for patients from the Northampton catchment area. A specified number of GPs Surgeries are covered Northampton PCART, therefore the post holder will provide Consultant input to his patch of GP Surgeries.
