About The Role: As a Purchasing Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth purchasing operations. Key Responsibilities: Raising purchase orders (POs) and progressing outstanding orders Checking lead times and stock availability Communicating order status and stock availability to sales teams Arranging internal warehouse transfers of goods Managing supplier sales issues and complaints Confirming client delivery addresses and details Liaising with UK & international suppliers Coordinating with other departments when necessary Stock control & inventory management Accurately inputting new stock onto databases Maintaining supplier relationships Supporting sales administration teams where required Ensuring price lists are up to date and accurate Attending occasional trade shows Assisting with purchasing forecasts Working to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment Experience / Skills Required: Ability to prioritise workload Experience in administration and a good understanding of operations within a purchasing department Strong organisational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and work to your own initiative ERP & stock management system experience (Streamline or similar preferred) Right to work within the UK is essential What’s On Offer: £26K - £28K salary Bonuses paid twice a year – up to £5K per annum 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays Progression routes How To Apply?
