PR Strategy & Execution:
* Develop and execute traditional and digital PR strategies tailored to regional needs.
* Identify and pitch to relevant UK media outlets, parenting bloggers, and community influencers.
* Generate engaging digital PR campaigns that position Family Care as a leading authority in fostering.
* Monitor and analyse UK media coverage, providing insights on campaign performance and regional impact.
* Build and nurture relationships with key UK journalists and influencers in family, children's services, and social care.
* Stay informed about UK government policies and initiatives related to fostering and children's services.
Content Creation:
* Craft compelling and sensitive content, including blog posts, case studies, press releases, website copy, and social media updates.
* Ensure all content adheres to ethical guidelines and safeguarding principles.
* Optimise content for UK search engines (SEO) to improve organic reach within target regions.
* Create impactful content showcasing the positive effects of fostering on children and carers.
* Support the Events and Social Media Executive in content creation and community engagement.
* Monitor UK social media trends and identify brand promotion opportunities, particularly within local communities.
* Maintain brand consistency across all PR and content initiatives..
Reporting & Analysis:
* Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure PR and content effectiveness.
* Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
What we are looking for:
* Proven experience in digital PR, content creation, or a related role, preferably within the UK charity or social care sector.
* Strong understanding of the UK fostering landscape and children's services.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in SEO principles, link building, and content optimisation.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with UK media contacts and influencers.
* Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience using UK-specific analytics tools.
* Proficiency in PR and social media monitoring tools relevant to the UK market.
* Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Experience in using UK media databases.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Experience working with a UK fostering agency or children's charity.
* Experience in creating video content.
