We are looking for a motivated individual to join us as a Waste & Environmental Operative whose main focus will be to carry out recycling and waste collection and sorting, supporting cleaning services, and delivering consumables and stock while maintaining online processes for stock control. You will also support the cleaning service department in all areas of the campus.
Reporting to the Waste & Environmental Coordinator, you will help provide a clean, safe, and well-presented environment to the highest standards. You will be highly motivated with a flexible and positive ‘can-do’ attitude towards your work. You will also possess a full driving licence (manual vehicles) and have recent experience driving vehicles in a safe and appropriate manner.
As a member of the Cleaning Services team, you will also be part of the Estates and Facilities Directorate, providing a quality service to students, staff, and members of the public.
Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work on University closed days and some weekends.
