We’re looking for a Property Inspector to join our team and take charge of operational management for our Market rent and supported (Choice) empty homes. About the role As the Market Rent and Choice Property inspector, you’ll oversee contractors working on empty properties, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to predefined standards. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across our Market Rent and Choice accommodation. More about you Conduct pre-inspections of empty properties to diagnose defects and faults. Organise and assign contractor work for timely property turnaround. Coordinate and manage subcontractor tasks, ensuring value for money and post-inspection quality assurance. Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, and quality specifications. Carry out risk assessments and manage property-related risks. Provide specialist technical advice to colleagues to support informed decision-making. Investigate complaints and enquiries, ensuring swift resolution. Collaborate with stakeholders to budget and coordinate maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards for all works undertaken. At the same time, you will demonstrate resilience and the desire to work in an interesting environment where no day is ever the same We will need to take up an Disclosure and Barring Check for this role which we will do for you when you start.
