Our service engineers provide essential hands-on support on all Geberit products, especially our range of AquaClean WCs. They deliver professional onsite repairs and fault finding for both domestic and commercial customers. Some customers are in the care sector, so patience and empathy are key to delivering outstanding customer service. An ideal candidate will have experience in field-based equipment repair and be a logical problem-solver in their work. They'll understand bathroom products and plumbing, have the ability to quickly grasp concepts and information, and be comfortable working with end users and different trades.
- Please note that the role will cover South London, Kent, and Essex.
- Due to the nature of our customer base, an enhanced DBS check will be performed on the successful candidate.
MAIN TASKS
* Service & repair on the full range of Geberit products
* Investigate & diagnose faults & resolve malfunctions on the range of AquaClean WCs
* Arrange site visits with end-users at their properties
* Organise & manage your diary to be as efficient as possible
* Process all appropriate paperwork to a high standard, completing job reports and sending them back to the office for processing
* Maintain your service equipment & stock
* Talk to customers at various levels from B2B to B2C when onsite
* Taking onsite payments for chargeable work
* Keep accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers
* Escalate issues to the Senior Service Engineer for resolutions
* Provide technical product information in a timely manner
* Adding value throughout the team and organisation
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* Good standard of general education i.e. GSCE, O Level.
* NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 or above in Engineering preferred
* CSCS Card Holder preferred
