Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a growing maintenance team in a highly respected industrial facility? Following a successful recent hire, our client is looking for another Mechanical Engineering Technician to support their expanding operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure high levels of Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) compliance for all maintenance activities.
* Support unplanned stoppage recovery and assist with first-line fault-finding and problem-solving.
* Collaborate with departments to enhance plant reliability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) through FMEA/RCM studies and preventive maintenance strategies.
* Assist the MRO Stores Controller in optimising inventory for plant reliability and performance.
* Supervise contractors for maintenance and capital project activities during plant outages.
* Maintain detailed equipment records using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Key Requirements
* Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
* Hands-on experience with pumps, compressors, pipelines, boilers, vessels, and heat exchangers.
* Knowledge of maintenance and reliability tools (FMEA, RCM, condition monitoring, CMMS).
* Experience with alignment techniques, ultrasonics, vibration analysis, and thermography.
* Understanding of pressure systems, confined space entry, risk assessments, and hot work permits.
* Strong reporting skills with the ability to assess, improve, and implement maintenance workflows.
